It appears that First Air has cancelled its afternoon flights from Edmonton to Yellowknife without notifying passengers. In additional, all the major online flight booking sites will still allow the flight to be booked. I've heard from several guests that they has stumbled upon this on there own and have begun the process of changing flights.

You can fly out of Edmonton at about 7:00 PM on Canadian North, arriving in Yelllowknife at about 9:05 PM.
You can fly out of Yellowknife in the morning at 6:00 am on Air Canada, patch through Calgary, and arrive in Edmonton at about 10:30 am.
